De Fab40, ook wel Fabulous Forty genoemd, was een wekelijkse hitlijst die werd uitgezonden op de zeezender Radio London ("Big L"). De afkorting "Fab" was in de jaren '60 in zwang en verbonden met de Beatles, die ook wel de "Fab Four" werden genoemd. In tegenstelling tot andere Engelse hitlijsten, was de Fab40 niet gebaseerd op platenverkopen. De Fab40 was daarom meestal 'sneller' dan de gangbare lijsten en kende grotere stijgers en dalers.

De lijst werd elke zondag uitgezonden in een 3-uur durend programma tussen 11 en 2. De laatste lijst werd uitgezonden op 6 augustus 1967. Nummer 1 in die aflevering was het nummer Heroes and Villains van The Beach Boys. Als gevolg van de Marine Broadcasting Offences Act staakten de uitzendingen van Radio London op 14 augustus 1967.
