Als perfecte afsluiting van De Week van de Jaren 80 presenteert NPO Radio 5 de Evergreen Toplijst van de jaren 80. Deze bijzondere lijst is samengesteld door de luisteraars van de zender en biedt een nostalgische reis terug naar het tijdperk van de eighties. Na het succes van de eerste lijst in 2018 en de tweede editie in 2019, maakt de Evergreen Toplijst van de jaren 80 haar langverwachte comeback met de derde aflevering in 2023.

Het unieke aspect van deze toplijst is de betrokkenheid van de luisteraars. Zij hebben de mogelijkheid om hun favoriete nummers uit de jaren 80 in te sturen, waardoor de lijst een afspiegeling vormt van de muzikale voorkeuren en herinneringen van het luisterpubliek. De Evergreen Toplijst van de jaren 80 biedt dan ook een prachtige mix van tijdloze hits, vergeten pareltjes en onvergetelijke artiesten uit dit legendarische decennium.
